Whether characteristics or experiences in life have much more influence on people's personality and development has became a public focus. Some people believe that natures play the most important role. Opponents maintain that nurture and experiences in life are the main factors. Before drawing a conclusion, I intend to analyze both sides of the argument from different sides.
According to scientific research, it can be proved that gene significantly contributes to the nature from people's forefather, and even the nature is very stable when people grow up. As the proverb goes: "A leopard cannot change his spots." The nature people have born effects on the development of young generation, and shapes different real characters among us.
Many other however, take a quite different attitude towards the importance of nurture. Although gene has great effects on one's personality, environment plays a more important role in people's further development and personality. When children are very young, they begin trying to imitate their parents" behaviors, and run into some manners. However, society is full of tests and trials, the cultivation will result in fragile personality of children. For instance, if the teacher is too strict, he will frighten the student. On the other hand, if the teacher is too friendly and permissive, student may become lazy. It is impossible that young people can't get the most training and learn how to solve problems in various circumstances. In the schooling, some one can have his personality affected largely from his friends because children of the same age can maintain closer relationship and influence each other.
For the reasons presented above, I am of the opinion that nurture has more much influences on people's personality and development than nature.
