This affected the way in which the male called on the female. For example, courting or marriage rituals occurred differently in a variety of cultures and class levels; the reason is that whether viewed historically or in contemporary terms, each culture and class has its unique courting rituals and wedding rites. .
             However, money is not the only device that plays a role on courting and its rituals. Take for instance religions. This aspect of the wedding ceremony is universal; within each culture, the religious association does influence the ceremonial rituals.
