Foreign Policy And Violece

The acts of September 11th, 2001 and other horrific acts like it are directly related and held accountable to the United States involvement in the Middle East where the U.S has in the past helped Israel and continues to aid it today. .
To the Arab nations and many other countries the United States appears to be a giant that abuses its power. The U.S pokes and prods in the business of these nations with military force when it should not go any further than to assist in financial (even thought the funds may go to buying weapons for the aided country) and conversational aid. The United States should only get involved (militarily speaking) in crises where world wide or continental devastation would occur. .
The United States, being the global power that it is needs to better decide what matters are most important to involve the military aid of the U.S and the ramifications of its actions. If the United States only involved itself (militarily speaking) in matters that were of utter need the American people would benefit. The people would get their tax money used on more important things than the military, but most importantly peoples" lives would be at less of a risk because America's image would change dramatically.
Violence is a part of everyday live and it always will be. Hiding it from young and adolescence members of society is not the way to reduce the violent acts this nation is so used to seeing everyday. If America wants to rid our worlds of brutal acts then we need to start at the beginning of life where people are most susceptible to learn new ideas, children. If children are educated and know about what violence does to other people it will change the world as it is known.
The media is the number one source of the knowledge of violence. Each day new stories of brutal acts are shown to, read about or listened to by billions of people. There are no parental advisories on the news or age limitations to the viewers who see it, but yet this fact is overlooked by many people who blame the violent video games, books and movies which people seem to be drawn to.
