Stating the values of the company is very important so that the consumer knows what type of company you are and what you are working toward. .
             Ford serves many different markets around the world. The key markets in which Ford is trying to remain a big competitor are Korea, China, Indonesia, Thailand, India, and Central-Eastern Europe. Many of these markets are just emerging to Ford as potential markets for them, but they are working hard to remain competitors in those markets. Many U.S. jobs depend on Ford's ability to compete in those international markets. Ford, being a major manufacturer, also has some major competitors. Some of Ford's major competitors are Daimler Chrysler, Fiat, General Motors, Honda, Nissan, Toyota, and Volkswagen. All of these companies are also competitors in Ford's international market, not just in the United States. .
             Ford is a company that is owned by the people it serves. Ford is a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The reward that Ford gives its stockholders for being an owner of the company is paid out in quarterly dividends as well as other company perks. An example of a stockholder perk would be if you owned at least 50 shares of stock, then it is possible to get a new car at dealer cost. Ford's management structure is that is has a board of directors and the company officers. All board members and other officers of the company answer to the Chief Executive Officer. From there Ford has Vice Presidents of the different groups of Ford. Some of the Vice President groups of Ford are Chief Financial Officer, Manufacturing and Quality, North America Operations, and Chief Technical Officer. Each of these groups is in charge of one of the major operating functions of the company. This shows that Ford's leadership is organized and structured by different operations throughout the company.
             Ford is actively working on the environmental concerns that face them.
