Experience is defined in Collins dictionary (2001) "as a direct personal participation or observation of something. And Benner (2001 pg 36) also defined experience as the refinement of preconceived notions and theory through encounter with many actual practical situations that add nuances or shades of differences to theory. Benner (2001), explained that experience does not necessarily refer to longevity or length of time in a position rather; it refers to a very active process of refining and changing preconceived theories and ideas when confronted with actual situations.
