Much of the class speaks up and has a few variations to each story. Several students will then mention other stories that they heard from the news or radio. The teacher lets other students talk to each other about the story and compare similar information. .
The teacher then has the students get into their groups to discuss the current events. Then each group will present one of the topics to the rest of the class. The teacher goes around to each group to see if they have any problems and then takes attendance. Once the presentations start, he sits in one of the student's desks and takes notes.

Part Two: Analysis.
The teacher used two parts of Bloom's Taxonomy. He used knowledge, comprehension, and application (Omrod 522). He used knowledge first when he explained to the students what each article was about. He asked the students what they thought about each article and if they understood what was happening in each. He used comprehension when asking the students what the main points of the article were and having them list important factors of each. He used application and analyzation by having each student apply the facts to the problem and have them come up with an answer on how this problem could be solved. .
The students would then use their presentation skills when they would present their projects to their groups and eventually to the class. The teacher is increasing the student's skills in note taking, public speaking, and group work. .
I like the way the teacher uses the class time and offers a lot of variety in teaching strategies during the class. He incorporates group work for those students who work better with others, and offers individual work (the research homework) to students who work better alone. He also focuses on refining the students outlining skills and note taking skills. .
I would like to organize the classroom in the same manner. I "m not sure how he organized the groups, but I would try and do it by GPA.
