             This paper will compare inpatient/residential and intensive out patient treatment programs, identify the characteristics of successful substance abuse treatment programs, and explain the relevance of (all) treatment modalities to the workplace.
             findings of on-site visit (each student is expected to complete a site visit for their learning team) to a number of local drug/alcohol treatment programs. This may be inpatient/residential or outpatient but must include review of all components of the program as described in the objectives including 12-step support program: Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), or Cocaine Anonymous (CA).
             Treatment Options Paper (Companion to site visited).
             In Week Five, the Learning Team will submit a paper on Treatment Options. The paper must include a minimum of 1500 words and include a description of the modalities used, the demographics of the population, the referral mechanisms both in and out, follow up and aftercare, and the success rates. This will be a companion paper to the Site Visit. .

             Cassondra - Alcoholics Anonymous- 12 Step Program(s).

             Introduction .
             In this report, each team member had the unique opportunity to explore a substance abuse treatment facility of his or her choice. During the site visits, each team member also inquired about valuable information while following a standardized checklist edited from UOP materials. Analyzing and evaluating the data complied from each student has enabled us to better understand inpatient residential and intensive outpatient treatment programs, as well as, 12-Step Programs.
