In America today everyone can think of someone who has feared for their safety at least once before. Imagine being in a country where citizens fear for their lives because their government fails to protect them in the necessary fashion. Waking up in the morning doesn't seem quite as simple anymore. It becomes unsafe to step outside, and the children are being forced to grow up in these situations, which just reproduce the problems all over again. Citizen protection is necessity for its citizens to live productive lives.
With protection, citizens will work harder which in turn will keep the economy running strong. If citizens make more money its because the economy is strong. When citizens make more money they spend more money, which gets taxed so the government just makes more money. It will keep everyone happy. Protection will also help keep anarchy out of this picture. If citizens feel safe they won't feel the need to take action to keep themselves safe, and therefore are happy with the government. Showing now on televisions everywhere are war torn countries that have no economic stability due to constant war and violence.
Protection from the government also allows citizens to live longer lives, requiring fewer medical resources, and government assistance, thus allowing the quality of healthcare to increase. If citizens are able to live without fear of being brutally murdered throughout their entire lives, stress related illnesses could be cut in half. That would reduce medical expenses used from healthcare, therefore allowing more money in other areas such as education. This also would increase average lifespan and would enable the government to spend more on health care, which would add expanded health benefits to the citizens, the elderly; it encourages trade, and promotes positive immigration.
In addition, protection will provide more opportunity to future generations. Protection can also be viewed as trust meaning people will marry for love, which is also built on trust, therefore the divorce rate, would decline.
