The purpose of this report is to explore three different types of new 2002 Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) that are currently available to purchase. For most people, a vehicle is the second largest investment that they make. Each member in team Echo is looking to purchase a vehicle within the new few years. By researching in advance and learning what factors to examine in purchasing a vehicle, consumers are more likely to discover what they want in a vehicle and can then make a more educated decision. .
The research was conducted by gathering both primary and secondary data. Primary data includes test-driving the three SUVs that were chosen as well as interviewing people who have previously driven the vehicles. Secondary data was collected on the Internet, Consumer Reports, and car dealer brochures.
