Christies Mysteries

Agatha Christie was born Agatha may Clarissa Miller in Devon, England in 1890. She was the youngest of three children in a well to do family. Agatha never attended school as a young child. She was mostly taught at home by tutors. She made up her own games at a very young age to keep herself busy. Agatha had a problem expressing her feelings so she first turned to music and then later on writing. When she was twenty-four years old she got married to Archie Christie, in 1914. While he was at war was when she first got the idea to write a detective novel and even though it was finished in a year it was not published until 1920. Hercule Poirot was a famous character in a lot of her stories. She wrote more than thirty novels featuring Poirot. then in 1926 her husband Archie wanted a divorce for he had fell in love with another. Agatha had been upset already by her mothers death she disappeared. She then was found three weeks later in a motel when she told the cops she had lost her memory. Nothing was ever spoken about it again. She later got remarried to Max Mallowen who she had met in Mesopotamia. Christie had became the Queen of the Golden Age. She wrote sixty-six novels, many short stories and screen plays, and a series of romantic novels. Her work had been translated in over a hundred languages. Agatha Christie is one of the most popular mystery writers of all time. She had been awarded a high honor of becoming a Dame of the British empire. .
In all of three of the stories that I read, "How Does Your Garden Grow", "Yellow Iris", and "Witness for the Prosecution", Agatha Christie seems to have the same kinds of twists. The evidence always seems to lead to an innocent person or you just seem to think that the wrong person committed the crime. For instance in "How Does Your Garden Grow" there is evidence that leads to convict an innocent person when really she did not do it.
