America And Lebanese Youth

These interests along with America's military advantages raise troubling eyebrows of concern. One wonders where they will use this military presence and just how far they are willing to inflict pain on others, which we have seen so many times in the past, just to achieve their goals and reach their economic or political benefits. .
After the attacks of September 11th the U.S. foreign policies have been radicalized and taken to another level, which is now the so-called "War on Terrorism". This episode of terror has reshaped U.S. foreign strategies and has ultimately changed the course of world order and stability. All of this happened because to the American government this was an attack against freedom so a swift and direct retaliation somewhere anywhere was inevitable to them. In response to these acts, the American population's emotions are understandable, and we should do nothing to belittle these feelings. But their officials refuse to ask the question "why," except in terms of stereotypes that divert us from the causes and focus us instead on the symptoms. And most crucially, their mainstream media has almost exclusively parroted official analyses and solutions, acting not like watchdogs but rather like lapdogs. Officials and their media operate essentially under the assumption that there can be no question of "why," since there's nothing they could have conceivably done that has anything to do with provoking terrorism.

Does the American government justify these actions? Does Lebanon's youth view the American foreign policy as well the outcomes of these policies as aggressive or bullying? Is this so prevalent freedom not applicable to anyone other than Americans?" How does Lebanon's youth react to the highly influential state that has a great effect on Lebanon and the region? All of these questions were representative of my research and its purpose; this is why I have structured my questions to meet the perspectives of the A.
