A Day It The Woods

Arriving at the central office I did not know what to expect and as I went in the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission office, in Little Rock, I felt a cold stare like that of which is on a TV game show host asking me a tough question. As I walked in for my interview it was beginning to seem more like a police station rather than a wildlife office. .
Even though the people seemed like zombies they were actually very nice and upbeat people. After what had seemed hours of waiting for my interview, he finally arrived. The short, hairy, and stocky man walked into the room and said, "My name is Jonny lee Wackey and I am a wildlife officer." He told me his life story beginning from the fact that he knew from a very young age that he wanted to become a game warden. I then asked him what the main reason he took the position was and he told me " {he} just wanted to preserve the outdoors for the youth of tomorrow." and he felt that it was "his responsibility to everyone in his community." .
One of the perks to his job is the ability to make many contacts. Even though many of the people that he meets are fine upstanding members of society, there are some that are the scum of the earth. "The only bad part about this job is that usually when I am called I have to issue the person a ticket", said Lonnie.
I asked him what the best part of the job is and he said, "everything but that." I asked him how a normal day went and he replied as follows: .
" First, I wake up and drive to work; Next, I arrive at work and go to any place I am called; Then, I get back to the office and do paperwork, and that is all that my day usually includes".
As a result of him saying that I thought that his job was boring. In fact it was so boring listening to him talk it made me want to go to sleep. However, he mentioned something about his agency's ability to enter a house without a search warrant and this wakened me right up.
