Davis (1977) stated job satisfaction that it is the worker satisfaction or dissatisfaction and put forward that job satisfaction can be obtained in case of there is a harmony between the wish of workers and job characteristics. .
Job satisfaction defined as degree to which employees have a positive affective orientation towards employment by the organization. (Price, 1997) .
At the same time; several studies have focused on the relationship between job satisfaction and many concepts such as age, gender, pay, commitment, turnover and productivity. By the way, a lot of investigates were studied in different culture and subculture, industries and regions. Naturally, much kind of results was obtained from the research. Although a lot of researches were studied in this matter, researchers still emphasize that there are a lot of unlighted issues. .
This study tested the relation between job satisfaction and education, working in area of self-interest/education in the some plants of forest industry in Turkey. The relationships between the variables were examined by two hypotheses. The purpose of the first hypothesis to: examine the influence of education and job satisfaction by the specific approach. Finally the second hypothesis focused on the influence of working in area of self-interest education on the job satisfaction. .
Hypothesized model .
The present study focused on examining the relationships between job satisfaction, education level, working in area of self-interest/education. Each hypothesized relationship in the model is discussed below. .
Education level and job satisfaction .
Previous studies have found that education increase job satisfaction of industrial workers and there is a positive linkage between the education and job satisfaction. Some results of investigations related to the mentioned issue are emphasized in below. .
The provision of training will foster an increase in professionalism and further exploitation of management methods, whereas a lack of training can cause frustration and lack of job satisfaction.
