The Controversy Surrounding Abortion

This shows that the wrongdoing of abortion does not simply end with the killing of a fetus, but instead carries on to affect the woman's life and health long after her abortion. Thus, consequences are seen in not just the fetus, which is a potential human life, but also through the woman who had the potential of being a mother. .
People who are against abortion consider the act wrong because of its ending an actual life. A fetus should be considered to be a human life for it is growing and living inside of a woman's womb. People who have committed the sexual deed should therefore be fully aware of the chances of procreation for the process of human lives is involved in pregnancy. Those who oppose abortion believe that abortion is the "easy" way out of the situation. If people think that they are ready and mature enough to have sex, then they should take responsibility for their actions. When a person or a couple is thinking about abortion, they only think of the bad aspects of having the child, and this is why it leads them to abort the child. They then live their life wondering "what if," and they regret the choice of abortion, but then it is too little and way too late. Having a child may be tough and very hard to handle, but that is just how life is. Think of abortion this way, when your mother was pregnant with you, would you want her to have had an abortion? If your mother had an abortion, you would not exist and you would think it would be wrong. Therefore, depriving a developing child of life by choosing to go through an abortion is a selfish thing to do and a cowardly way out of parenthood. This is because it would benefit only the woman and man involved. As a result, if people are willing to have sex, then they should be able to take responsibility for their actions and not abort the child. People should, therefore, not deprive their developing baby of its right to live as a human being.
