             Symbolism: (I"m not really sure if this is symbolism.) Bailey is a symbolic piece of foreshadowing of the way that Jerry will stand his ground at not partaking in the chocolate sale. .
             Updates on characters:.
             Brother Leon- Earlier Obie and Archie alluded to the way Leon could "hold the class in the palm of his hand", however this is the first that we've experienced this. He made a temporary mockery out of a student to test the reactions of others, and in the end make a fool out of the class. He's is a controlling person who likes to feel his own importance.
             Chapter7: I didn't really understand the importance of this chapter, I"m sure that it will become prevalent later on though. It is all about Emile Janza a kid that is siphoning gas out of a car. Archie sees him doing this and makes fun a bit then leaves. It is said that Emile is a brute/bully so he isn't worried about getting caught by the owner of the car. Emile says that the only thing he is afraid of is Archie and The Vigils.
             Figurative Language and Imagery:.
             Page40- "He grinned knowingly at Archie.".
             "His small eyes were imbedded in pale flesh- .
             Page42-"Janza had the picture-like money in the bank.".
             Symbolism: Archie is a symbol of power throughout the school and amongst the students.
             Characters:.
             Archie- Same.
             Emile- On the football team, a bully.
             Chapter8: The assignment that Goober was given is being carried out now.
