The reason why I had to make this extra bookreport needs no further explanation. Ofcourse I didn't like it much, because it takes a lot of time again, but I knew very well that only I was responsible for that. This time I learned from my mistakes and because of that I asked you to advice me. You told me this was a nice book to read and I must admit that you are right. The story was more than reasonable, but what made it so nice to read was the language that was used. The language that is used is most of the time slang. It just kept you reading.
Against my expectations I didn't mind reading the book at all!.
The aspects I'm going to treat in this bookreport are:.
35) What extreme situations are there in the book? Describe them. What's their importance?.
44a) Find a fragment that refers to the title. Explain the title.
44b) Think of two other appropriate titles for the book and add why they are appropriate .
54a) To what extent is the outsider personally responsible for the position he is in? To what extent is he not?.
54b) What circumstances cause the outsider to change in the course of the book?.
130) How do children feel about their parents and other authorities they have to listen to?.
132) What good and bad relationships do the maincharacters have with other people?.
137)How do the children deal with their problems? Would I do the same?.
35) What extreme situations are there in the book? Describe them. What's their importance?.
The first extreme situation I would like to treat is that is kicked out of school for the third time in a row.
Fragment 1 .
As you can see in this fragment he doesn't really cares for his future. The reason why I took this fragment was to let you see that at the beginning of the book he doesn't take any responsibilities so he is acting very immature in that way.
Another extreme situations is when he gets beaten by Maurice.
