Street Racing

Some people think that street racing is a law being broken and that all of us doing it should get arrested. Well I think that it is dangerous in some ways but it also keeps us out of trouble. On a weekend night you see some teenagers just having fun at a local hangout like near a sonic or at a abandoned theatre. But I think that it is better to stay on the streets like that rather than burglarizing houses. Street racers spend their money on modifications to their rides rather than drugs.
Picture yourself in Corpus Christi. As you walk on the gravel covered road, you spy a bright neon green Honda Prelude. When you take a close look, you will see all kinds of logos. Honda, Greddy, Mugen, Transformer, TriZone, Kamikaze, Weapon R, Neuspeed, Barely Street Legal, HKS, Xenon, DC Sports, Catz, Nakayama, Venom, Napolex, Tokico, Momo, Honda Sport, and Street Glow are all popular logos you can find anywhere. As you turn a cheek, the sun's bright beam is reflecting off the shiny chrome wheels. Since it is hurting your eyes, you turn around; right in front of you is a sticker that says "Greddy Racing Exhaust System". As your eyes wonder downward, you see the 4.5-inch exhaust tip. You stand up and leave with a huge smile and say, "That is going to be my car one day". " We race for the adrenaline rush not to hurt anybody" even though we should keep it on the track it's the thrill of doing something that's against the law.
The unaware motorist that are just riding along trying to get back home are put in danger every time someone races near them, their life is put on the line. I know at a couple races that I saw that two cars were racing and the racer in the right lane was coming in hard and their was a car that was going about 35mph and the racer could not stop in time so he floored it and cut the other racer off and merely missed the other innocent motorist by inches. It was both a exciting and scary event at the same time.
