             Schizophrenia is a chronic disorder. It can last from six months to a lifetime. It usually lasts for a long time. People suffering from this disease experience symptoms on and off. Sometimes they may appear to be normal and other times their symptoms may be very obvious. Schizophrenia has been split into different types. Most often five different types, which are catatonic, disorganized, paranoid, undifferentiated, and residual schizophrenia. Catatonic is categorized by strange patterns of motor behavior. The person usually changes between rigid immobility and wild excitement. Disorganized behavior includes symptoms of severely disordered thinking. Their language may be incoherent and they may show unusual emotional expression (Psychology Second Edition). They may also experience delusions. Paranoid schizophrenia is mostly the .
