Role Of A Father

What Is Your View on the Role of the Father?.

When I think of the roles of a father, I think of someone who is not only a provider and a protector but also someone who nurturing, loving, caring, knowledgeable, helpful, protective, a provider, a role model, and always there for me. Throughout my life, my father has protected and provided for me. My father has taken on not only the traditional protector and provider role but also the important nurturing role. I feel that him being a nurturing father has helped me grow into a nurturing and caring, confident individual and has allowed us to build a strong close father-daughter relationship. .

My father had to take on not just one role but two roles in my life. When my mother passed away, he had to take on the mother role and all of the responsibilities that came with it. I think that my father being a nurturing father, helped him take on these two roles wonderfully. My father had to provide for the two of us financially on his own, cook dinner, and take on all of the household responsibilities. He had to learn all of the things that my mom did for me, like dressing me and fixing my hair to get ready for school in the mornings. He was always there for me when I needed help. Sometimes I would have problems with my school work and I would come to him for help. He would always take the time to sit down with me and help me with it. My grandfather was nurturing towards my father, which I believe helped my father become the nurturing, caring individual that he is today. "Most men today compare themselves favorably with their own fathers in both the quality and quant!.
