Abortion is perhaps one of the most fundamental issues in history. Women have a choice to go through with the pregnancy or terminate it. Abortion should not be used as a form of birth control in any circumstance. It was decided in 1973 by the Supreme Court that, 1.) During the first trimester a women can not be limited on how or when she wants an abortion. 2.) During the second trimester, the states interest is in the mothers health and they can make a reasonable suggestion on how or where it will take place. .
3.) During the third trimester it is in the states interest for the unborn child and may prohibit the abortion unless immediate danger to the mother. In 1992, Ronald Reagan and George Bush requested the Supreme Court to reverse it. It was denied by a five person majority rule. It stated that "upheld by the due process clauses of the constitution, protects women liberty to choose an abortion prior to viability." Those who are pro-choice agree with these protections on abortion. On the other hand, people like me who are pro-life do not agree with these circumstances. We believe in rights of the future of those unborn children. As pro-life I will start with helping to try and make it illegal unless of rape or danger to the mother, in the state of Nevada. .
In some ways you could define pro-life as being conservative, because their main focus is preservation of human beings. They also support strict limits on abortion. Though liberals focus on man, they also focus on materialism, process of illumination, and more on human nature than conservatism. To define conservatism to "believe that limited government will ensure order, competitive market, and personal opportunity." They believe for change in moderation. In comparison to liberals, conservatives want to keep the government small except in national defense. Even though conservatism takes a more passive look at human nature, they believe in strong leadership intuitions, firm laws, and strict moral codes to keep control in our society.
