There are many different psychological symptoms that people are affected by all across the world. These symptoms can range anywhere from very common anxiety disorders to the unusual cases of depression. In my case, the two major symptoms that affect me are a simple phobia and a few stress management problems. You may be thinking what is a simple phobia is; well here is your answer. Simple phobias are fears of any specific objects or situations that are irrational and interfere with normal activities. With the issues concerning stress management and trying to balance out my social and academic lifestyles, I have come to realize that getting advice and learning how to better deal with stress is my only solution. The first step is to become aware of the issues that are the root of my constant worries. My worries range from various school related issues, to family related problems, and of course I can't forget my friends. Overall these two symptoms can be dealt with if I just take time to myself, organize my thoughts, and figure out what needs to be done to overcome my troubles.
People may think my phobia is not serious at all, but cats are my worst nightmares. They seem so harmless and innocent but their beady little eyes don't fool me! There have been many incidents where I have come in contact with ugly furry cats which were not very pleasing in any way whatsoever! When I was about five-years-old my family and I lived in the William Penn Apartments, in New Castle, and my friend Lesley who was thirty some years old, fed all the stray cats in the area. She had this love for cats, which seemed okay to me at first until I was attacked in my own home. One day my sister and I came home from school and no one was home. We came in threw the back door, and my sister didn't close it all the way, so a sneaky little cat came in and jumped on me while I was sitting on the sofa. I started screaming and somehow I threw the cat across the room.
