             The Lusitania was designed by Leonard Peskett.
             Lusitania was designed with lots of rooms, and dining rooms which one was for the rich peolpe and there was another dining room for the poor.
             The Lusitania was divided into two sections which are the front and the stern.The front was done before the stern had started.So this allowed the designers to arrange their machinery in the engine rooms.In the end of spring of 1905,the Lusitania's double bottom was placed in.The work stilled continued in the stern of the ship.

             As a Naval Rescue Ship, the Lusitania would have to be quick as well as elegant.The ship had carried 16 wooden lifeboats.After what had happened to the Titanic ship, Lusitania had carried 48 lifeboats, 22 were wooden and 26 were collapsible.Every boat had two chains on them so they could be put in the water safely.The ship was launched on June 7th 1906 at 12:30 p.m. The ship took 86 seconds to be launched.On July 29 1907 the Official Trails started.September 7th of the year 1907,the ship had started her maiden voyage.
             September 7,1907, The Lusitania had left Britain.
             (the Liverpool) and is sailing to New York.When they started to sail back to Britain and after 5 days in the sea,Lusitania was attacked and torpedoed.
             On May 7th 1915,Leutnant Walter Schwieger the commander of the U-boats, sighted a ship with 4 funnels which was the Lusitania.He ordered to torpedo the ship with a G-type torpedo.He then orders to fire the torpedo and it hits the ship behind the foremast. He then again hits the Lusitania. After those shots, the Lusitania starts to head towards land. She then starts to roll rapidly onto her starboard side.She sank by the head first and the ship sank in 18 minutes, taking 1,201 people with her. The ship sank 11.2 miles south, near Ireland.
             When the Americans heard what had happened to the.
             Lusitania, they got mad.When they also found out that it was the German U-boats that sank the ship, the Americans got anger at them for what they had done and this provoked the Americans to enter into World War 1.
