Punishment

Nowadays, there is a public controversy *on how to *tell the distinction between right and wrong to kids. Some people believe that parents should adopt *instruction as the formal method *while many others *insist that punishment should be used as the leading method in raising their children. In my opinion (to my thinking), punishment is a useful means. Furthermore, I have some *suggestions to extend a better result.
In the first place, punishment is not a means *for parents to spank or abuse children. Parents can force children to do something beneficial *which the children are too young to recognize that. In the story <> The father ordered the boy who had *made some mistakes to clean up all the *lamp standards *in the street as the punishment. At first, the boy* had a grievance against his father. *When the neighbours and teachers smiled on him for his good behavior, he took cognizance of his fault and understood why *his father did so. This is a great sample of how to punish children in a right way. Parents ought not to punish children by strong arm, which will *only make children more rebellious and *have less *gut to face their fault.
In the second place, punishment is only a method to teach the children what *are right and wrong but not a method to force the children to submit to parents. Parents should give children some free space to have their own notion. *Children should be encouraged to speak out their views.*Parents should discuss the right and wrong *aspects together with children, but *not negate everything at *once. In a word, parents ought to make children feel that they can have their own opinion and they can* talk about it with parents. *In that way, they can learn more than you can image. .
All in all, I agree that punishment is a useful method to teach children. Parents need to find out a right way of punishment, which not only can help raise their children but also *can benefit to them and others.
