Plot- Huck Finn was a wild boy that lived with his aunt and didn't like it. He would always complain that she was trying to civilize him. He lived with her because his dad had been gone for a year and he abused Huck. His dad came back though and took him to a secluded cabin in the woods. Huck fakes his death and goes to Jackson Island where he meets up with Mrs. Watsons slave, Jim.
Huck and Jim stay in a cave for a few days. They find a washed out house that has Hucks dead dad in it and some things of value in it. Huck dresses up as a girl and goes into town to get some information about Jim and himself. They take off that night and the raft breaks. Huck lives with a family for a few days then leaves. He meets back up with Jim and they help out two men that claim to be royalty. One says that he is a duke and the other says he is a king. They help them out because they are con men. .
They come to one town and claim to be the brothers of a man that has died and has a big fortune waiting to be inherited. They each get three thousand dollars and some land. They hide it in a bed but Huck sees them and feels sorry for the family so he takes it and sticks it in a coffin. The next day at the funeral the crowd sees the gold and accuses the con men. Huck escapes back to the raft with Jim and they push off. Later on the king and duke catch up and start a fight with Huck accusing him of ditching them and hiding the money. They argue about the money till the king finally admits to it.
Climax-They float upstream for a long time to get away from the town that they got busted in. They finally stop at a town called Pikesville. Huck goes to get Jim but he is gone. He walks down the road and runs into a boy that tells him that Jim is locked up at the Phelps place. Huck sits down and writes a letter to Mrs. Watson telling her to send the reward and she can get Jim back. Before he sends it he starts thinking of all the good times they had and how good of a friend Jim has been, so he rips the letter up.
