Jen has been my best friend since we were kids.
together from braces to high school to marriage and children. She was always there for .
me whenever I needed a shoulder to cry on or and ear to listen. Jen was the type of .
person who was never quick to judge anyone or any situation, she always looked at both .
sides keeping a very open mind. Even though she is gone I still have all the memories and .
the pictures of our good times. I remember doing silly things in high school like toilet .
papering peoples houses. I remember all the crazy things we did in college going to .
parties, dating, and just enjoying our youth. I remember the laughter, the tears, the hard .
times, but most of all I remember the love. The love that Jen had for life and for everyone .
in her life. She will certainly be missed.
Co-worker.
I had the pleasure of working with Jen for over 20 years. We started out together .
in our internship at UCSD Medical center, and we eventually moved our way up th ranks .
to be successful surgeons. Jen had such a passion for life and a passion to help other .
people, she often time would remain in the hospital long after her shift was over just to be .
there when her patient awoke from surgery making sure he was alright. She always had .
wanted to be a doctor, and she was not going to let anything stop her, Jen worked with .
such determination and passion we all knew that she would succeed in anything that she .
wanted to do. Even with the demanding work schedule that she had, Jen never forgot the .
birthdays of her co-workers and often time would organize the office to bring in cake or .
cookies for them. We love you Jen and it just won't be the same without you.
Athletic Coach.
Jen was a competitive swimmer for almost 20 years. I watched her grow from a .
little tike who could barely keep herself afloat to swimming for a division I college. In .
practice she was one of the hardest workers that I have ever had, she came in there with .
