Jonbo - Humor

In the final days of the Cold War that held Europe and the rest of the world near the brink of total annihilation, Germany was but one of the countries perched on the frontlines of the imminent Russian invasion. It is here we find our hero, Jonbo, setting out on a mission that will take him through Hell and back. .
             One man. .
             One desire. .
             One bouquet of flowers.".
On a mission that many have failed, Jonbo stealthily jumps from train to train as he makes his way through the myriad of stops and crowds of wary strangers who, after first glance, accepts Jonbo as one of their own. Through the ingenious use of disguise and local mannerisms, he melts into one of those crowds headed for Huchting, a suburb of Bremen in the north-central part of West Germany. Later, aboard the final train to Huchting and with the setting sun to his back, Jonbo stares at the floor as if disinterested. He is careful not to speak and reveal himself to the locals as an outsider, instead he quietly goes over his plan of attack and possible backup plans with escape routes if things should get ugly.
Without event, Jonbo exits the train and heads through the winding cobblestone streets to his final destination codenamed "Objective Fraulein." Once there, he cautiously approaches the front door to his destiny, pulls the flowers from their protective covering and knocks three times. As the heavy wooden door slowly opens, a middle-aged woman of medium height appears and warmly smiles and motions the now trembling Jonbo in. Thinking with lightning speed, Jonbo, in an effort to gain acceptance, hands the flowers (intended for his date) to the mother who blushes and calls for her two daughters to the room for Jonbo to pick from. .
When the daughters arrive, our fearless hero is so smitten by the older one that an unusual transformation takes place. What was once the mighty warrior was now nothing more than a quivering bowl of Jell-O.
