Strengths and weakness are a part of everyone's personality. To identify my strengths and weakness and make a plan to improve them, will help me grow personally. So the question to myself was exactly what are my strengths and weaknesses? How can I identify them?.
Although I was aware that I had strengths and weakness, I was unsure how to identify them. I wanted to be sure that what I thought were my strengths and weakness, were realistic of what society saw as a strength or weakness. I found a website (www.sbishere.com), which gave an excellent approach on how to identify your strengths, as well as your weaknesses. So I began my journey.
Strengths.
I started by identifying my strengths using the following criteria: .
Am I great at a certain thing?.
Does an activity I do, seem like a magnet?.
Do I do a certain task and it makes me happy?.
Do I witness glimpses of excellence in a certain area or activity?.
After asking myself these four questions, I listed below some of my strengths that will help me at work as well as with classes at the University or Phoenix (UOP). My strengths are:.
I am talented with computers.
I am socially able to accept all peers, regardless of their different backgrounds, such as education.
And, I work well with children.
My strength with computers helped me both at work and at school. I learned a great deal about computers, including several programming languages, as well as Database Management. Learning the programming languages has given me a better understanding on how computers work; I have used my knowledge of computer programming to teach myself how to operate new computer programs. My database management skills have helped me to write databases. This has enabled me to be more efficient in managing my home business. .
By socially accepting all peers, regardless of age, background or education, I have learned a great deal. Each person has a significant amount of information to share.
