Areosmith

I think Aerosmith is the greatest band of all time. They have been putting out music for over thirty years. The band has been able to set aside their differences and overcome many obstacles to get where they are today.
Aerosmith's first single was released in June 1973 and are currently on a national tour. They have had to change and adapt to still be releasing new music and getting the younger generations to love their music. Aerosmith has released twelve studio albums and each one shows how great they really are.
The band has had many conflicts to go around to get where they are now. Battles with drug addiction, switching from Colombia Records to Sony Music, and disagreements between band members. Addiction to drugs and alcohol lead to many of the bands disagreements and caused them to make some unwise choices in the music industry and hurt their ability to promote their records.
At one time two of the original band members, Joe Perry and Brad Whitford, left the band to pursue other options. The switch between labels caused more stress to keep making music that people wanted to hear. I believe they have stepped up to the challenge and are doing better than ever.
Since then the band uses their differences to make better music and wiser choices. Each of their personalities compliments each other and makes them strong.
Just recently, in January of 2001, Aerosmith played during the Super Bowl Halftime Show. They played a medley of three of their songs along with Britney Spears, NSYNC, Mary J. Blige, and Nelly. These artists are faces in the emerging scene of music aimed at a younger audience.
Aerosmith has had many obstacles in their way, many struggles to get where they are now. They have come together and keep putting out music that rocks older and younger generations. A band that plays to such a wide variety of ages and tastes in music has to be able to adapt. This ability makes them the greatest band of all time.
