In Judy Brady's "I Want A Wife," Brady simply goes off on a male bashing tangent. Brady stereotypes the male race as an ungrateful and lazy breed, while creating an all-righteous image of woman. Brady describes, moreover, tries to find every flaw that is associated with some, but certainly not all, men.
It is an almost comical event to read of the horrors that Brady illustrates in a wife's everyday life--- laughable to say the least. Brady, an apparent feminist, or "femi-nazi," woes and complains of a select few male characteristics. Obviously, Brady has not taken into account for the what men have to endure day-in and day-out. She must have just forgotten to mention the never ending barrage of emotions and mood swings women force upon men. Granted, some men may be insensitive to some women's wants, needs, desires, and so on, yet she never once mentions that sometimes women are insensitive to men. It has been proven that we, the men, distract ourselves with various activities such as reading a newspaper, watching television, or perhaps even treating ourselves to our favorite alcoholic beverage after a long day's work.
