The immense feud between the Capulets and the Montague's began years and years ago. It all started when Romeo and Juliet's grandfathers were best of friends. Everything they did together. They would double date, play basketball, and ride their bikes together. Just all the normal things kids do. Then, a when they were about 18, a girl came between them. Both of them were in "love" with the same girl. Her name was Gayle. She was so gorgeous; she made the sun seem dull. The smile she showed everyday would brighten a pitch black room up. Gayle could not choose which one she loved more. She would date one of them one night, and then the other one the other night. It was the hardest decision of her life, and she did not know at the time that it would cause some big trouble in the end. After a while, she finally chose who she would date and possibly marry. The one she chose was Grandfather Montague. Both of them didn't know what to think. Grandfather Montague was exuding with joy. On the other hand, Grandfather Capulet was furious. The did not speak to each for the rest of their lives. When they would run into each other, all they would do was fight.
