Michael Moore the author of Stupid White Men and has just released a new movie. The movie entitled Bowling for Columbine is about gun control. Personally I think that Michael Moore is a very brave man for speaking out the way he does about Charlton Hesston, the Democratic, and Republican parties. Personally I would not speak out against a man with a lot of guns, and better yet some questionably mentally unstable followers. However I do completely agree with what he has to say on the issues of gun control. I also agree with him that we are a very violent nation that whenever something is wrong many people feel they can only solve that through violence.
I feel as though Moore makes a very strong point on the huge issue of gun control and the NRA. I totally agree with that there is no use for anyone in this country to have a gun because if no one has a gun then no one needs a gun. I believe he mentioned that even though the bill of rights sates you have the right to bear arms* that doesn't mean you have the right to use them at your own free will. (The asterisk was placed there also as a reminder that the whole purpose to bear arms to form and keep a well a regulated militia to overthrow the government if and only if they become to powerful). I understand this is a very complicated issue and cannot be solved instantly and may never be solved. .
I am still perplexed about how easily he spewed the words stating how pathetic the Democratic Party is. I am not sure as to how much I agree or disagree with it but I will say that this country is headed the wrong way as far as politics and government issues. I sense that our government is caring less and less about its constituents and more and more about the money in their pockets. For some reason, I am not quite sure why Michel Moore really gets my wheels turning and blood pumping as far as looking at the issues at hand in our government.
