            Many wars though out time have left the affects of pain, anger and suffering. It's a war of conquest nothing more. It waists valuable time and money which could be put to better use and doesn't always solve the problem in which the war started.
             Audrey Gillan of "The Age" newspaper writes about the affects of the war being fault by the troops in Iraq. In this case the scenario that American allies shot at a convoy of five British troops.
             Could the effect of the war have the effect that soldiers could not recognize friend from foe or is it just plain ignorance?.
             The money that fueled those helicopters, that equipped them with ammunition, that trained those pilots for war have been a waste of valuable time and money if they shooting one another. Innocent people are always suffering the repercussions of war. This war has wasted money and lives that could have been avoided.
             Beryl Molly writes to the editor of our actions and behavior during this war. We kill a child with one hand and offer another child a loaf of bread with the other. It's assumed that because we offer these people food for bombing them that will make it all better. People can't be expected to forgive and forget the deaths of their friends and family by the UN's hand. The people of Iraq are starving and need food. But receiving food from the people who are bombing them partly responsible for their shortage of food to begin with it just doesn't make sense. .
             The casualties of war can in no way be compensated for or replaced by any material. They are just lost.
             Normal Iraqis are trapped in the world of Saddam Hussein's rule. Every single decision that Saddam Hussein makes impacts on the Iraqi people. A continued feature article from page one of "the Age" states exactly how Saddam's rule has impacted the lives of his people from what they aloud to wear, how they live and how they are suppose to think. Saddam has also portrayed his visions and dreams through out the media broadcasting live 24-hour visions of Iraqi triumph in this war.
