Soon when the apples fall the pigs decree that all the apples are for the pigs to keep the pigs healthy even though the pigs don't like apples. The horse, Boxer, is the hardest worker and gets up early to work before the rest. The old donkey, Benjamin, a good friend of Boxer's, is not impressed by the revolution or much else. Mollie is the white horse who doesn't work hard and misses her sugar cubes and ribbons.
