Do Science and Religion

We will never come to the point were science books concerning evolution will be over looked. This is why no one is certain about what is "truth" or what isn't. Religion has its open views on certain issues that science raises. For example Euthanasia and abortion do not sit well in the eyes of the Catholic Church. Technology has provided scientists with the ability to perform such procedures as these, because it is ultimately up to the individual to choose upon what is right or wrong. These issues touch on a person's morality. Religion and science have a similar basis, which is truth and understanding. The similarities are what has brought upon this direct relationship between the two. Science provides answers that explain how certain aspects of our world came to be. Through many theories science has solved many mysteries of the world. On the other hand science will never be an effective tool when trying to help us understand why certain aspects of our world exist. .
Science cannot answer some of the questions that religion can. This put a separation between the two. Science lacks the ability to touch on the spiritual side and that is something science will never be able to penetrate. It does not answer questions concerning why we are here on earth and what our destiny is. Although it may attempt to explain how the earth got here. "Science only provides a car and chauffeur for us. It does not tell us where to drive it (Dr. George Lundberg)." Gamaliel Bradford, a famous biographer and scholar stated, "Who will tell me something of God. I know nothing about him, whatever. It is a mere name, a mere word to me, and yet it clings." This is absolutely right no one knows God; he is a mere belief that we have and science knows that religion cannot prove this. Science is an exciting aspect in our society today with the advance technology, we know have the ability to do what was thought would never happen.
