Romeo and Juliet

The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is a case of bad luck. The reason is that everything between them goes wrong. For example, the timing is always wrong and from the start, things go from bad to worse. To begin, if only Romeo met Juliet before she was engaged to Paris.
Fate is defined in the Macquarie Dictionary as fortune. It is a set course for a person's life. The difference between fate and bad luck is that bad luck is where everything goes wrong, whereas fate is where only a few things go wrong or there would be no point of living. The reason why it is bad luck is because of the violence between the Capulet's and Montague's, Romeo not meeting Juliet before she becomes engaged to Paris, Tybalt killing Mercutio leading to Romeo killing Tybalt, Friar John not reaching Romeo in time to tell him about Juliet taking the fake death poison. Also, Juliet does not have the type of relationship with her parents that allows her to tell them about her love for Romeo.
Firstly, violence between the Montagues and Capulets is bad fortune. .
If the two families where friends there would not be a problem with Romeo loving and marrying Juliet as they would probably be honoured and encourage it as it would link up the two families. .
Secondly, Romeo not meeting Juliet before she becomes engaged to Paris. After all the years that Romeo and Juliet have been alive they have never met or known about each other. This is quite strange as the Montagues and Capulets are at war with each other and each family talks about the other.
It is also bad luck that Tybalt kills Mercutio as it leads to Romeo killing Tybalt. This is really bad luck, as this action exacerbates the hatred between the families. Thus, Romeo is banished from Verona. As he says, "O, I am fortunes fool" (Act III Scene 1) after killing Tybalt, meaning that he did not stop to think about the consequences of his actions before killing Tybalt.
If only Friar John got to Romeo before Balthasar came and told him "Her body sleeps in Capulet's monument, and her immortal part with angel lives.
