Comparing the many similarities and a like differences would be kind of easy, that's if they were between my father, Steve, and Adam's father, Moses. Even though the time period is rather a long time ago, human life and relations are quite similar in the sense of, love for one another, hatred, betrayal, friendship, and many other connections.
Steve and Moses have a lot of similarities. To start off with physical appearance, I guess Steve is a handsome guy just as Moses, reference to the book. Both have a decent physical build, even though they may not look like it, it's under there. Both stand tall, dark brown hair, and dark featured.
In the beginning of the book Moses was hard on Adam. Steve is like that on occasions. It's either his way or no way at all. It's hard to explain to him why it's probably better to do it this way than what he prefers; even when it's his own wife both Moses and Steve are head of the household or cabin as it was back in 1775. .
Despite similarities, there are differences between the two. Moses comments on how Adam's brain needs to catch up with his body. Steve isn't like that on his kids. He's like that most likely because of his effort on "bringing up" his children right, the mother also has some to do with it too. One big difference is that Moses dies in battle in the commons. Steve is still alive and never fought in any type of war. .
To conclude, Moses and Steve are diverse in some big and little ways. Even though they"re more similarities then differences, there's something worth commenting on. Both are excellent fathers, but lack the ability to reach out or be able to talk about personal subjects or anything for that matter. .
