Da Vinci and how he was the true Renaissance man.
The renaissance is known as a time of great change, which produced many great minds. During this time period, society was transformed into one of increasingly dominated by central political institutions with an urban attitude. People's curiosity overcame their fear and many people began to explore and try new things out. It was so evident that new schools and colleges became more and more common. If we look back in history, we can see that many great minds prospered during this time period. Of those, was a man named Leonardo Da Vinci. Da Vinci was a man that let his curiosity took him to many places. Many ingenious people consider his ideas and thoughts to this day. His ability to make things beyond his time enabled him to be one of the highly esteemed people even to this day. It is belief by many, that Da Vinci was the leading icon in the Renaissance. Da Vinci, by many is considered as a true Renaissance person. With his skills ranging from areas such as art to areas such as botany. Da Vinci had success and interests in many areas. He is considered to be a Renaissance man for his vast areas of expertise. He was able to become a master of the painting scene and paint masterpieces like the Mono Lisa and the Last Supper. He was also a very meticulous sculptor that was able to carefully show the muscle tone and body curves in his sculptures. Da Vinci was also a very highly acclaimed engineer. He designed many machines that are being used currently in our world. Da Vinci was also able to provide the medical field with advancements in studies and with organ shapes and sizes. Da Vinci also had much insight into how the world of aquatics worked and how wind and currents worked. His study of robotics proved to be the pinnacle of his experiments. It let him learn many new things from his robots and he was better able to understand the human body from them.
