As you have may noticed I've worked half and half my service hours in two places. The second is the Library near my apartment and the 1st place was in a elderly care center for the elderly in Colorado. As, always I learn something new at the library and meet new friends there every day that I spend there. The day I went to the library, I decided to work for 5 hours, and during my time there I got to learn how the librarians shelf the videos they have there, plus I got to learn how to check in books which turned out to be the simplest job I've done there so far. Next time I go to a library I will make sure that when I get a book to return it to the place I found it because its really, really hard and confusing to put them back after its been put in a wrong place. .
Now its time to back before the library trip, in the beginning of the vacation I traveled to Colorado to visit family. Once there I decided to do my service hours there, my aunt took me to a place called St. Tomas Elderly Care Home, there I met many people who had survive the 2nd world war. I met this guy who only answered to the name Johnson, but that was only a fake name that he received, because no one knew how to translate his Jewish name on to English. I learn that the 2nd world war was horrible for a little boy, and I admired his courage on how he live with out parents nor other types of relatives. Well, at the end I think I would rather go there that to go to the library because there I learn new lessons that even books cannot teach, such as courage. .
