I think being able to cope, empathize with others, and be self-motivated is very important to relating in college, career, and everyday living. Whether you are going to the grocery store, school, or to the bank you are going to have to deal with one or several different personalities. Most importantly, how you choose to act towards others and how you treat them is how they in return, react to you. To solve personal problems and academic problems you need to have a clear understanding of the problem. Not everything is always, as it appears to be. To achieve solutions to any given problem, you need to have a greater understanding on what the problem is. How you are going to solve the problem is going to take some critical and creative thinking. I don't think you should jump to conclusions; you need to gather all the information that you can before coming to any conclusions. I like listening to other people's point of view. To hear what someone else is thinking and how they put things into perspective is very fascinating to me. It tells a lot about someone, and it tells a lot about you, by the way you act or react to what they are saying. .
I think learning new skills by being open minded to new ideas, and listening to other people's perspectives is very important. Learning is not strictly from a textbook. You learn many things from listening to others, reading, writing, and hands on studying. I think it is inane to be mind-set. There is now right way or wrong way to learn. When you broaden your horizons the sky is the limit. Never underestimate what you are capable of learning, if your choice is to be more creative and you open up to new ideas you can and will succeed with hard work and determination. .
I have a friend who is very closed-minded in her way of thinking. We were having an inductive and deductive argument one night. We were talking about Heaven and Earth. I said " I think there are levels in Heaven, like gold, silver, and bronze.
