It would be a bad business decision to sell and market our product to a country that has 35% of its people unemployed and only 3-5% are wealthy. Again we need a country that is more economically stable (www.odci.gov/).
Another reason not to sell hats in Jordan is because they are a developing nation. The many characteristics of a developing country are if countries GNP/capita is lower than $9,265, which Jordan is at $3,500. Another characteristic is if the country has unequal distribution of income, which is true again for Jordan only 3%-5% are rich and the rest are poor with no middle class. High population growth that is at 3% annually is another characteristic. Much of the population is making its living in agriculture. Jordan has extremely low .
saving rates and inadequate banking facilities. Inhospitable topography is another characteristic; Jordan is mostly desert plateau in the east and highland area in the west. Jordan also has high dependence on few products for export such as fertilizers, agriculture products that include wheat, barley, citrus, and poultry and phosphates (textbook pg 134).
Topography is a factor in Jordan. Jordan's main topographical feature is a dry plateau running from north to south. This rises steeply from the eastern shores of the Jordan River and the Dead Sea, reaching a height of between 610 and 915 meters (about 2-3,000ft). This plateau area includes most of Jordan's main cities and towns (http://www.hejleh.com/jordan). .

In the west runs the Great Rift Valley, a deep depression, which includes the Jordan Valley, the Wadi Araba and the Dead Sea. In the area of Lake Tiberias (Sea of Galilee) the valley is about 213m (700ft) below sea level and the Dead Sea marks the world's lowest point, at 395m (1,296ft) below sea level (http://www.hejleh.com/jordan).
