magnetic spectrum

An electromagnetic spectrum is the spectrum in which electromagnetic waves are sent out and in which they can be detected. The spectrum of electromagnetic waves includes the following waves: microwave, radar, satellite, UHF T.V., VHF T.V., FM radio, CB radio, amateur radio, and AM radio. All of theses waves are called millimeter waves. They are the waves that cannot be. The only form of wave that can be seen in the electromagnetic spectrum is ultraviolet light.
Some waves can be damaging to your health. For example a microwave can emit off radiation that can cause problems or affect your health. And then some may not do anything to your body at all. Some waves maybe affected by the weather, for example T.V. signals or radio waves are distorted and have static on very windy days.
In the electromagnetic spectrum there are certain energies our megahertz, giga hertz and just plain hertz. More hertz, gig hertz and megahertz you go the higher the frequency, the stronger the signal or wave is. There are also different frequencies, there are ultraviolet, visible, infrared, extra high, super high, ultra high, very high, high, and medium frequencies. All different types of wave react on different level of frequencies.
Here is a table on the different types of frequencies, what is in that range of frequencies and the different levels of energy:.
There is one area of the spectrum that is not really known, or that there is not enough information to draw a conclusion on. That is the area of Millimeter waves. You cannot see these waves nor feel them. But they are there. There is research being done on them right now.
