From when I was a junior in high school, I started working this job that involved lots of hard labor and getting up at the crack of dawn, or sometimes even earlier than that. The job was at good old "Meat Company", or my father's meat factory. Now, I know what some of you are thinking, you work for your father and you probably don't have to do anything but sit on your ass all day. Now that is not true, my father believes in hard labor because when he was a kid, he father worked him hard, to build the company. So he believes that I should have no easy tasks, so I work in the back where all the processing occurs, and then I even help loads 6-8 trucks a day. And when this day is over I feel like I could sleep for a year.
My dad begins around 3:45 when my father wakes me up at home, and says "get up time to go to work", I respond, "I am too tired, another ten minutes", he responds "up now or your not getting paid this week", so finally I get out of bed, hop into the shower, get dressed, and jump into my car, its now 4:15, got a half hour ride ahead of me into the city. I arrive into the place around 4:45, as I walk in; I look around the outside of the factory, and see hookers and drunks still on the streets from the night before, and think "damn do they need to clean up this neighborhood". I walk into the factory, and am greeted by many voice, "Hola", "Good Morning", "How you doing", "Long night last night?", the voices of many of the workers who already have been there for an hour, damn I am tired time to get a cup of coffee, with like 10 packets of sugar to keep me up. Ok, now I am off to the factory in back and see who needs help with what. .
