The most dreaded part of camps by the prisoners was the Appeal or roll call . In this the prisoners were sent out into the cold night after a hard day of work and were lined up . Anyone that fell to the cold ground was shot or gassed. The guards didn't help the prisoners get much rest either . They would beat up prisoners with their fists or guns or anything they could find .
