Adventures of Tom Sawyer

 

Tom, Huck, and Joe, Tom's best friends, run away to live their lives as pirates. They are tired of going to school, working, and doing chores. The three boys get homesick after a few days and Tom visits his house. He hears everything that his Aunt and Joe's mother are saying. They are preparing funerals of the boys for the weekend. .
             .
             The boys experience a hurricane that almost kills them. After that, they sneak into town and attend their own funerals. This was Tom's plan to make the boys stay as pirates for a while. .
             .
             When Tom tells Aunt Polly a "dream" about exactly what she and Joe's mother said a few nights before, she thought it was a miracle of God. When she found out from Joe's mother that he secretly visited, she gets angry that he did not even let her know that he was alive. Tom tells her that he did it because he loved her and that he even kissed her during the night. This makes her much happier to know that Tom did not lie. .
             .
             When Tom goes back to school, him and Becky start to make each other feel jealous. Tom starts talking to Amy and Becky starts to pretend to like Alfred. However, when Becky accidentally ripped a page of the teacher's book, Tom takes the blame and receives punishment. Becky was amazed that he took the blame and she stopped pretending to like Alfred. .

             Examination day comes and Tom messes up on his speech. However, the boys pull a prank on Mr. Dobbins, the schoolteacher, by making a cat tied from the ceiling, pull his wig off. Then the dull and boring summer comes. .
             .
             Unexpectedly, Muff Potters trial comes up. The whole town comes to see it. During the trial, Tom takes the stand. He was not expecting this, but he decided to tell the truth. He confesses that it was Injun Joe and as soon as Injun Joe herd that Tom had told the truth, he breaks through a window and got away. .
             .
             During the summer, Tom and Huck start to look for buried treasure around the town. When they are searching upstairs of a haunted house, Injun Joe and another man walk in.
