Can you imagine getting up in the mourning, being totally healthy while you Mother, or a .
loved one lay in a hospital bed in excruciating pain, cant walk, or make any movements .
what so ever, but their brain is totally normal and can comprehend and knows everything that's going on around them? Don't you think that your loved one should have the .
opportunity to decide when it is their time to go, when they are in so much pain and there is .
nothing left to their life?.
First of all assisted suicide should be legalized. It is considered torture for someone's body, .
or your own body to be put through that much of excruciating pain. Just knowing that you .
have to wake up every morning, and not be able to do anything, go anywhere, or even look .
people straight in the eye without seeing their disgust. Just imagine having to look at your .
own family members and seeing the helpless look in their eye knowing that there is nothing .
they are able to do. People should not be put through that much self-embarrassment. If .
they believe that it is their time to leave this world, they will let themselves out of it for the .
good other people watching their suffering and for themselves, whether it is legal or not. .
Everyone knows when it is his or her time and will make the right decision in the end, why .
not just make it legal and this way every one in the family or friends know what has .
happened, instead of putting everyone through the pain of their loss. If anything it should .
be legalized, but assisted suicide should go through the courts, if someone feels that it is .
their time to leave the world they should approach the court, explain their case and the final .
decision will be left up to the court.
Secondly assisted suicide should be legalized because of the right we have as Canadians. .
This is located in the Criminal Code of Canada, there are many different points that go .
towards helping legalize assisted suicide in Canada.
