The person who has received the high school biology education often have experienced that the teacher cut the head of frog to measure the reaction of never ending. Although it is true that the use of animals in teaching and biomedical research has contributed to medical discovery and human benefit, the animal subjects have suffered a lot of harm during the process. The World Wildlife Fund is an organization to protect animals. However, it did not prohibit Environment Protection Agency (EPA) to do toxic test by using its authority. "The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is almost single-handedly responsible for the development of the largest animal testing program in history which kills 1.2 million animals for every 1,000 chemicals tested (with upwards of 80,000 chemicals being tested) even though scientists have denounced the animal tests.?(Sandler, 2002, p47). That means 96 million animals would be killed if the whole chemical tests were finished. In the chemical tests, animals are injected toxic chemical materials that cause animals weakness, illness, paralysis and death. It is cold-blooded for people to do these experiments. People should be more compassionate with the improvement of human beings'society but science leads to people?callous feeling in some research and increases ethic problems in applying science. Therefore, science is responsibility for the decline of human beings?ethic and this decline aggravates human beings?inhumane emotions. .
The application of science technology in rebuilding the physical world often causes inhumane effects on people. The improvement of the standard of humane beings?lives is based on the sacrifice and destruction of environment. Human beings?activity destroys the quality of living environment. While science brings convenience for human beings?lives, pollution is often ignored. Every day factories pour millions of tons of smoke and soot into the air. Wastewater from industrial uses is largely returned to rivers and lakes.
