Internal and External personal values are the key to success. If you believe in a positive value, the outcome will be good. If you believe in a negative value, the outcome will be bad. As you can see, these values will decide which path you follow in life, so you must choose them wisely.
I believe safety in my home, school, and neighborhood contributes to my success so far in life. I believe it is the most important external asset of all. Having a feeling of safety lets me focus solely on my work, rather than my well-being. For example, I feel Latrobe is a safe place to live. I don't have to worry about gangs, shootings, or anything of the sort. That means I can be myself, and do work my way. .
I also believe that maintaining a positive, optimistic view about my own personal future is the key to my success. This is by far my most important internal value. I was told by my parents and teachers, "If you believe you can do something, and work hard at it, you can." I have found this statement to be true. I think about my future extremely optimistically, hoping that statement will hold strong, and because I have complete control of it, it will. Also, maintaining an optimistic view about the future gives me a sense of boldness and determination to carry into the "Real World.".

I believe exercise is a very important aspect of everyone's life. Exercise will make you feel better about yourself, strengthen your muscles, and increase your endurance. Sometimes exercise can be tiring and boring, but the results are well worth the work. .
I personally don't enjoy exercising, but I still do it. I realize that it is beneficial in many ways and it increases my athletic performance. When I exercise, I like to exercise by playing games, rather than doing jumping jacks or other types of work. I would rather play water polo than swim ten laps. .
Therefore, I believe exercising can be fun if there is a reward for working hard, which would be winning.
