Jane Eyre is a well-written book that I have read several times. In this book, the author , Charlotte Bronte who is an excellent writer, successfully described a figure of women who dares to resist and fight for freedom and peace. That's why Jane Eyre is an outstanding novel in the English literature and a well-known one in the world.
In this story, I think Jane's spirit of resisting is throughout the whole book. That is to say, in the author's age, the spirit of Jane reflects the demands of women who wants to shake off the oppress and the discriminations of the men. A paragraph in the book shows her idea: 'you are good to those who are good to you. It is all I ever desire to be. If people were always kind and obedient to those who are cruel and unjust, the wicked people would have it all their own way: they would never feel afraid, and so they would never alter, but would grow worse and worse. When we are struck at without a reason, we should strike back again very hard; I am sure we should- so hard as to teach the person who struck us never to do it again.' That's what she thinks so. .
It's a good ending to the persons who like to read books which have a good ending. But to me, it's not a wise skill for the writer to arrange this plot. Because I think, Jane must be more independent and have more individual character. .
But it's still a good book in my opinion. The author depicted a lifelike woman. Every time I read it , I will get something new and more ideas comes to me. It's a wonderful book. And in my eyes , Jane is a new woman to the old world.
