I make the assumption this is due to the fact that the intrepreneur is risking his reputation throughout the particular industry he failed in. Whereas the entrepreneur may have more personal financial loss but is able to pick himself up and start again without his reputation being affected as much.
             Branson belief is that the customer is the company's most important entity. This is why is the way he monitors customer feedback. According to an article by Home Office Computing (Home Office Computing, 1994 p,16) this is something that entrepreneurs often foolishly fail to do. His style is consistent with the belief of Kushell (kushell.1999, P184), who believes that customer attributes like age, location and interests can have a massive impact on what they buy, meaning that the feedback can be used to enhance the customer service and also allow for new innovative ideas.
