             Australia's economic relations with Asia have increased over the last two decades. Australian organisation's ability to capitalise on the increased diversity within the population will have a direct result on those organisation's ability to be able to conduct successful business within the Asian markets. .
             Also since the end of World War II not only has immigration increased, so to has the number of females entering the workforce increased dramatically. In 1947 25% of the workforce was female, in 1993 this had risen to 43%. .
             This, similarly to immigration, has led to a more diverse workforce. This increase has resulted in an increase in the number of female professionals in the workforce, with a large percentage of them being married, 53% in 1990 and having dependant children, to 59% in 1998. This has meant that organisations are having to provided new benefits to suit the changing demands of a changing workforce. .
             In addition to the previously mentioned language education, organisations are also providing child care facilities and other such benefits designed to assist the working woman. .
             This trend is not specifically the result of woman wanting to work or re-entering to continue a career. .
             It is also partly due to the need for both parents to work, as it is no longer possible for a family to maintain a high standard of living on a single income.
             Changes in the economy such as cost of living are forcing organisations to become more "family friendly".
             As Australian society is becoming more diverse it is also becoming more educated.
